Help Dead Pixels?

Just noticed in the bottom right corner of my screen, there's a permanent, faint arrow. I've switched multiple screens to make sure it wasn't some kind of weird glitch, but this thing isn't going away. I've had this phone a little over a year now and yeah, i've used this thing a lot, use to be my source of serious gaming. My guess would be dead or burnt pixels. My question though is, why in the shape of an arrow?

Because 1) you had something on the screen for long periods of time burning the screen, and it had the shape of an arrow
or
2) It has to have some shape, and it just happens to have the shape of an arrow.

Well it isn't burning in of the screen as the phone does not have a picture tube display, but a stuck pixel does happen sometimes. I have had one on my phone for a long time, and I don't really notice it.

Yeah I mean it doesn't bother me but was curious what it was when I seen it. Actually figured out what the patterns match. They're in the same places as my keyboard. Cuz I noticed more faint icons.

Unfortunately, since it is an AMOLED screen it can burn in like a picture tube. Each pixel is an organic dye that glows when power is put to it. Each dye has a finite amount of time it can glow. With that said you can try to download an app from the play store called "Screen Burn-in Tool". It says it can fix AMOLED screens but i don't see how. Give it a try, you have nothing to lose. Don't run it longer then they say is necessary. Good luck, let us know how you make out.
