Hi guys! I've had my Samsung Galaxy S3 i9300 for around 6months now.
Recently, it's been switching itself off a lot, I've then had to remove the battery and put it back in to switch the phone on again.
Tonight though was a different story. I was sat watching TV with it in my pocket. I pulled it out to check the time and again, it was off. So, I did what I usually do, pull out the battery (I have to because otherwise it just doesn't respond) and then place it back in and then it began loading.
It went to the Samsung boot screen, then to the swirling Samsung logo, then it restarted to the boot screen again, then it suddenly switched off.
Now, I cannot switch it on again. It won't even charge. I've tried removing the battery. I've charged it off the mains and my Mac yet it doesn't respond at all. Not even the LED light is switching on.
I even tried a hard reset but because it isn't responding at all, that doesn't work.
Any suggestions on what the cause might be? I suspected a problem with the OS at first but since it won't even charge or even turn on at all, I'm suspecting a hardware problem.
Has this same thing happened to anyone else? Is there any possibility it might be fixable?
Thanks in advance.

I flashed it with what I think was called CF Auto Root.
