Help Dead Space on Triumph - CM7

I found that Amazon Appstore has EA's Dead Space, so I went ahead and bought and installed it. That all went fine but after I booted it up, it ran only in two shades, black and white. No textures, just pitch black and brilliant white. It's unplayable.

In the thread "http://androidforums.com/triumph-all-things-root/437077-working-games-triumph.html" the author said he had it running just fine. Someone know I could fix it?

I'm running Tickerguys CM7 with Thunderprop fix. I tried chainfire3d pro, but didn't help a bit.

The game looks awesome and I'd love to play it. Any suggestions?

BTW, Samurai 2 & Shadowgun games are awesome (there are non-tegra versions now). Get them on the market after using the thunderprop mod

I play it all the time... I have no idea why it's giving you trouble. I've found games trends to run much better on CM7 but it's working just fine for me on MIUI.

Yeah, what the heck is thunderprop? I'm still running stock froyo and I couldn't get Shadowgun to properly install last night and ended up getting a refund. It showed up on the market, so I assumed it was working. Anyone else had any luck with stock froyo getting it to work?

The thunderprop fix is where you change a few files around to make the Market believe that your triumph is an htc thunderbolt. The thunderbolt has the same architecture as the triumph, but more games are tested and allowed to play on it.

Shadowgun should install after you do this.

Also chainfire 3d is a good way to make some games run smoother. You can reduce texture size, etc.

I even reflashed stock rom, didn't work there. So I put CM7 on again, and still no joy. This game looks awesome, but there seems to be absolutely no way to play it on my Triumph.

Did you follow the steps to reset the market after installing it?

Yeah, Still no joy. But, anyways, I went ahead and downloaded some 'hacked' version off the web. I don't pirate games (developers gotta make money to), but I figured I already own it since I spent $6.99 on the Amazon Appstore.

It's a great game and works great on the Triumph, just not the Amazon Appstore version (at least in my experience).
