Dear every dammned person in/on Android Forums

I just wanted to say, that after nearly 20 years, being a member of, and interested in dozens of different online forums, (reddit was a bit of a game changer in that there are so many different interest groups on on platform), ranging from electronics, to health, music, tech, and automobiles, that this forum, Android Forums, has been hands down, the most helpful, best organized, least toxic, and most community minded of any of the forums I have ever been a member of.
Every post I have ever posted has been responded to, never been trolled once here, and the combined tech knowledge about mobile devices is unequalled, anywhere, with the exception of XDA developers, however that forum is sometimes unresponsive to posts and questions. (Often because I have asked a question that has already been answered, and didn't know it).

I just wanted to say thanks to the founder, admins, and moderators of Androidforums.com for the culture, and the camaraderie always present here in abundance.

yes AF has been a family to me ever since i bought my first android phone which was the HTC Hero. i agree that it is the best forum out there.

@Papamalo that's because we're always on the lookout for the inevitable trolls, trying to spam & scam our peeps!



I became a member in November 2009, when my purchase of the original Motorola Droid (running Android 2.1) compelled me to. There's a reason I'm still here: my advice to new members is always "learn things, help others, make friends and have fun!" That advice is based on my own experience: the more active and engaged a person is here, the more they get out of it and enjoy it. Even if they just need an answer here and there, we're happy to help. So I understand where you're coming from because I share your sentiments. Now, if we could get a refresh of EMOJIS hint-hint
