I'm a huge fan of Technical Death Metal, I'm really hoping Necrophagist is still planning on releasing a new album. Also After The Burial is awesome, I can never get enough.

If you haven't listened to Rings Of Saturn, I would definitely suggest checking them out.

Not a huge fan of technical death metal. Musicianship is top notch, no doubt about that but it gets boring after a while for me.

I haven't heard anything about a new Necrophagist album in a while...hopefully it's still in the works. And yeah I saw After the Burial live last year..I didn't think much of their new screamer until I saw him live..pretty awesome

I can't even begin to make a list, (I like 99% of the bands above) but if anyone is on last.fm I'm JunBringer?s Music Profile ? Users at Last.fm and you'll see our compatibility. I just saw The Black Dahlia Murder, Nile, Hour Of Penance and Skeletonwitch the other day though, that was intense. I listen to all types of metal outside of most black and nu metal, so a lot of your lists are full of awesome.

I'm sure there are more...I'll add when I remember

I was heavy into Death Metal in the late 80s early 90s:
Morbid Angel (Altars of Madness, Blessed Are The Sick and Covenant are my favorites)
Nocturnus
Old Cannibal Corpse (The Bleeding is my favorite)
Amon/Deicide
Misanthropy
Silent Hatred
Mortifix (eyebrow ring got ripped out in one of their pits)
Dethklok
After Death
Malevolent Creation
Sacramental (I think this was the band's name, they were a death metal band and all their lyrics were bible verses)
Confessor (Tuned very high for a Death Metal band, but had a female vocalist)
Samael

Interesting to see who the other metal heads are around here. Some I wouldn't have guessed just based on posts around the forums. Was looking at the newest Job For a Cowboy last time I was at BB. Might have to get it since somebody testified for their new stuff lol.
