I am trying to de-brand my HTC M8 to stock so that I can get the OTA update for 4.4.3. So far I have rooted and got S-Off.

Can anyone suggest how I now install stock HTC (uk) and where I can get the required files ?

Thank you, Did you run the MID change for "HTC_Europe MID:". (I am on Vodafone UK)

Once this has been changed and I change the CID where did you find the "new carrier firmware" referred to or does the phone do this automatically once both the above has changed?

Tbh honest mate I've not done it yet. I'm running a custom ROM but asked it just in case I needed it

Anyone have any ideas where I can download carrier firmware for UK? I have changed my CID to HTC__001 and my original vodafone branding is now gone but still no update

I found this firmware collection, but I'm not sure which one applies to that variant:

It's based off of the OTA release # and I'm not at all familiar with the other versions, so be careful.
