I need to debrand my wildfire

Theres loads of info about debranding just do a simple google search. I'm looking the same but I'm using Ubuntu which doesnt work too well with the files needed for debranding. Hope someone can help me.

If it install run it then make sure your phone has USB debugging on put USB cable in and choose Charge Only mode.
Once that's done reply back

lolz start up in recovery mode

WARNING This will void Your Warranty You Have Been Warned

Please also Uninstall HTC Sync From Pc As It May Cause Preblems

1.Turn off phone
2.wait 5 seconds
3.Hold down - Volume key
4.Press the power button once
5.Go down to recovery by pressing the Volume keys
6.select it by pressing the power key once
this will bot into recovery mode
7.go down to nandroid select it using the Optical pad
8.go to Backup and restore (or) Backup rom
9.Select yes using optical pad
10.when thats done click Reboot system now
if you dont see it in the menu press the power button once then it will be there
11.When the phone has rebooted copy wither this
ZumoDrive - RUU_Buzz_HTC_WWE_1.37.405.1_Radio_13.53.55.24H_3.35.19.25_release_151892_signed_101410_003737.zip
to the SD card
or
This = Froyo 2.2.1 ( Official )
ZumoDrive - Froyo Update.zip

12.once done take the usb lead out and power down the phone
13.start up in recovery again ^^^^ see steps at the beginning
14.go down to wipedata/factory reset
15.click yes
16.go down to install zip from sd card
depending on which file you downlaoded and what you want on your phone it will be names different ( i would pick Froyo )
17.click on the file and click yes
18wait for it to flash and your done
18click reboot system now if its not there press the power key once

Wait for phone to star and your done

I get to option 6 of your guide and nothing happens, the screen has a phone with a triangle with exclamation mark through it. Do i need to download nandroid?

no u need to run unrevocked
Make sure USB debugging is enabled on phone and plug usb cable in and wait until unrevocked says done.

Yea phone was in debugging mode and unknown sources was ticked. Trying once again today.

Seems to have worked flawlessly on my desire but not the wildfire.....
