Root Decided to go back to redux but I had problems

I tried to restore a nandroid from s while ago but it came back md5 mismatch, so I decided to start from scratch, so I did a fresh nandroid then wiped everything, installed redux which went well, but after it booted I setup gmail and in market it was installing all my apps even though it was a fresh install, I tried to download ti backup, which would download but when it tried to install redux rebooted, so I tried to get terminal which did the same. So I'm guessing that's not right, so how come all my apps were already there and trying to update and why wouldn't it let me download?

Can anyone suggest anything that could be wrong? It had even remembered my WiFi settings which I thought was strange as I had done it as a fresh install. I'm getting bored of miui now, keep getting a few fc's so the only other option I thought about was to backup my SD card and reformat it and start again.

Sounds like the wipe wasnt successful. Wipe again

Did you do all 3 wipes from Recovery?

Yep all from recovery and I did it twice. Still the same result. I think I'm gonna have to reformat the card. I've had nothing but problems since I had this card, even the nandroid I took 30 minutes before came back mismatch. Where on the SD card would it store any info from previous roms?

Yeah I know but it was a fresh install and the apps it was updating were cordy and apps I had when I last had redux. Seems very strange.

So a reformat may be my only option. But on the plus side it should clear up any crap on the card. Guess what I'm doing tonight?

Well I think ill go the whole hog and do it from scratch with gparted, at least then it will be clean, I've got a nandroid that works, but it seems whenever I do a nandroid when the phones warm after charging that's when I get problems. I don't think this card handles heat very well.

I might even contact play.com and arrange to get it replaced. Upgrade to a sandisk one. I'm not happy with this pny one, I came unbranded so it could be any make!
