Help Declined Motobleurgh, want updates

Hi,

Just got the Defy+ after my HTC Desire died. I read about MotorBlur's horribleness and I don't use any social networking (no friends) so I cancelled the setup. Now I have a perfectly fine phone, quite happy with it.

I might in future want a firmware update, it says I can't get that without a MotoBlur account. Does anyone know if I register for a Blur account, can I then kill it after the update, or would I be stuck with it for ever?

I dunno why you're worried, the defy plus blur is minimal you hardly notice its there, its a far cry from earlier versions which took over your phone.
