Root Decompiling framework-res.apk?

I am trying to decompile the framework-res.apk file with APK Manager. But it's not working. When I did this with the DX, I had to use a dependee apk file (moto-res.apk) to be able to decompile without error but I can't seem to find the write file to use. Does anyone know if there is a dependee file or should I just be able to decompile it? Don't know if the Apk Manager 4.9 will actually work but I am trying to figure it out. Any help would be great.

Hey I was having this same problem. What I ended up doing was editing the framework-res.apk then rebuilding. Don't sign. Then I took the new one and placed it in the original rom.zip, overwriting the old. After that I reflashed a deodexed stock rom. Then reflashed the custom rom. Works beautifully!
 
Can someone post the stock framework-res for 3.2 its got a modified uastring in the Hammerhead rom im running but it's driving me crazy because some apps don't run correctly (ie google docs) because of it.
