Help deep roots

[jflint]

Will 5.0.2 and/or 5.1 ever be rootable on the ZTE Z987 and/or Z813? Maybe Chainfire is working on it?

I can almost assure you that Chainfire is NOT working on a root for these devices unless they come with an unlocked bootloader out-of-the-box.

You're best bet for info would be to visit the root areas for the respective devices either here or over at XDA:

ZTE Z987 = ZTE Grand X Max+ = http://androidforums.com/forums/root-zte-grand-x-max.2950/

ZTE Z813 = ZTE Overture 2 = no AF area here for that, but we do have one for the Overture that might be helpful
