Help Default ANDROID Browser

I just did a factory reset on my phone. Silvist, I am not an idiot. I followed his instructions exactly and they just didn't work for me. I'm glad one of our local experts had the same problem :p. I realized it just wasn't worth the hassle so I decided to just reset. Thanks for the help though everyone

Sorry, been a bit since i checked this topic. Mrtoolman, wasn't meaning to make that sound like your an idiot, my bad if i did. Was just saying it was that easy for me to get it working. Not really sure why it didn't work for you guys. I used zroot explorer, went to the browser.apk and replaced it with the one he uploaded. I actually left the browser.obex alone. Course backed up before all of this.

I am sorry that this did not work for you.

Silvist, my apologies for reacting like that. I was just very frustrated with the whole issue. And me too richiedaze, it would've been neat to do, but oh well. Thanks for offering to help everyone :)

As someone who just had to flash their phone because i deleted the stock browser, I found out the hard way that even putting back the original browser files does not fix the problem that deleting them causes. I should have mentioned this prior to this going on but I just joined this forum 3 days ago. I however do with that I had tried using the market after moving the flies back, because that is the only reason that I re-flashed my phone after removing browser.apk. So to anyone else that comes along, you cannot remove the stock browser and its odex file without re flashing to get em back to an out of the box state.

yeah, I'm still having problems with mine for that reason. Lots of error messages "process blah, blah, blah has unexpectedly stopped working". I need to re-flash back to original factory image, then re-root and all that. But I don't want to lose all my settings. I have stuff backed up, but I don't have time to mess with it right now. I will, soon.
