Root Default browser apk?

I accidentally deleted the default browser so my phone wont let me create a shortcut to any other browser bookmark. Can someone post the default apk? Thanks

Are you deodexed?

Navigate to /system/app and look to see if the files are listed as blahblahblah.apk and blahblahblah.odex. If there are .odex files, it's and odexed system. If there aren't .odex files, it's de-odexed.

I am unable to click links thru the Phandroid app for some reason. How do I "navigate"? Thru "files"?


Edit: I looked in the Files app I have and there's nothing in there called odex. All apk files but I don't have anything called "app" in there

Do you have any rom flashed or are you stock? And if you are stock have you installed any mods?

Stock and I am using go launcher ex but I am uninstalling it now because it is destroying my phone (crashes, lag, battery eater). That's all tho.

I packaged Deodexed and stock... just in case... but i am guessing you will need stock

When I said navigate to /system/app I meant open up an app like Root Browser and open the system folder, then the app folder inside it. There will be the apps listed there, but assuming you're stock, you're odexed.

Ok I have tried installing direct from link, I've downloaded the zip to pc and emailed the files to myself within, I dont know how to use this file.

How do I install it? I get errors saying "file not installed" or it crashes or it opens the file manager which I don't know a THING about what i'm doing.

bryan, can you give me a default browser for stock 2.3, odexed one.
I uninstalled it using the titanium back up, I thought creating a back up for it will enable me to restore it whenever I want to. Unluckily i cant

The odexed browser is included in that other download.
