Help Default email 15 minute syncs?

Which stock app are we talking about?

There is the Gmail stock app (envelope with red M on it) and the Samsung stock app (envelope with red @ on it).

The biggest problem I had with the Samsung stock app was its 15 minute mail checking intervals. I need my email to be automatically checked every minute without having to take it out of my pocket to do it manually.

Because the minimal check time was 15 minutes on the Samsung app, I went ahead and purchased Aqua Mail. It's a far more complex email client that offers a great deal of customization including the ability to check mail every minute. The only downside to Aqua Mail is that the message formatting is not as good as the stock apps. This is something the author of the program has been struggling to correct. That small problem aside, I think Aqua Mail is far superior to the stock apps.

The stock email app can be setup to use Exchange push mail (see post before yours). I use the free gmail exchange server from google, and I get email almost instantly. But that only if your mail service supports exchange push mail.

Sadly, I use an iCloud account (Apple).

At worst, I could forward that iCloud account to Google Mail and then push that way via Exchange.

However, it almost seems too much trouble and I am probably just better off using Aqua Mail.
