Help Default Messaging App keeps crashing

Basically my default Messaging app that came with my Samsung Galaxy S2 phone keeps crashing.

I get an error and am required to Force Close.

It happens about 1-3 times a day, very very annoying.

Generally if I wait a couple minutes and start messaging app back up, itll work again. But sometimes I have to turn my phone off and on, very frustrating.

How do I fix this?
My phone is not rooted.

Force closures can be cured by resetting your phone. Of course you may lose your apps but they can be re-downloaded via the Play Store at your leisure . Your contacts are synced with Gmail so that

Reinstall the application and try

Syatek, You need to download Kies on to your pc. Kies will automatically check for updates for your phone. Just follow the prompts on your screen and you should be fine.
