Help Default Navigation App

It appears that some function (like clicking on an address inside a contact) triggers the HTC nav app rather than google nav (which i prefer).

Does anyone know how to change that default so it would launch google nav (like my earlier htc android phones).

Or ... how to remove the HTC nav app

This has been looked at before. With 2.2 it launched Google. With the 2.2.1 update it started to launch HTC's navigation app. To be honest, I just wanted to look at the address if that was what I touched. If I have a 'contact' I normally know how to get there, I'm just checking their postal address to send them something, for instance. Anyhow, I now use Youlu for contacts. That shows me the whole postal address and, if I want the location, it does launch Google.

To answer your other question, regarding changing the app. that's launched, you'd think that would be one of the first things that was thought of when writing the app, but obviously not.
