Help Default program launch errors?

Confused - Whenever I open a picture, I get a prompt asking me to select the program I wish to use and if I would like to use this program Always or Just Once. I select the program and Always, but it doesn't seem to 'stick'. It accurately appears in the Task Manager however, but doesn't work.

Now today, when I press the Home button I get the same message and NOVA is not working unless I select it.

I've cleared all default programs and readded them but still no luck.

Help?

Hmm, that is a strange issue.

If your device is rooted boot into Safestrap and clear the Dalvik cache, that should fix it.

Otherwise, turn off the device and boot into Stock Recovery. This can be done by holding the Volume Up + Home button + Power button.

Then use the volume buttons to navigate to "Clear Cache" and clear it.

Not rooted, stock Verizon Note 3. Performed the Clear Cache function but problem persists. Have no clue why it started or how to fix it.

Huh, that is really strange.

I mean unfortunately you might just want to factory reset the device. OR reinstall Nova Launcher again.

Never had this issue happen before.

Finally updated to KitKat (Verizon) to get rid of the nag message. Figured that would also clear this issue up. But no luck. Still happens even after reload with Nova.

Did you try the factory reset?

It will delete everything, but it should probably fix this issue.
