Help Default ringtones and sounds all gone

I have now tried 4 restarts and 3 battery pulls and still no luck.
The default sounds are gone, the default ringtones are gone, everything other than my sounds on the SD card they are all gone!

Everything was working fine yesterday, then this morning I got a call and it startled me when it was a weird ring. Then later I got a call from someone who should have a custom ringtone and it was was the same sound! grrrrrr

Well sounds are back after yet another battery pull. Weird

I've had the same problem and it turned out that my SD card wasn't mounted for some reason. Try remounting it if it happens again.

everything on the SD card was working fine, it was the default OEM sounds that were gone
