Default SIP client vs. alternatives

Has anyone tried out the default SIP client vs. its alternatives? Is there any particular reason why I should or shouldn't switch to something else?
I mostly used Bria on iOS, or provider-proprietary stuff on Windows, but I only need incoming and outgoing calls (not IMs, SMS etc.).

Have you tried the default?

Yep, it did what I was expecting it to, both incoming and outgoing. Just wondering if I might encounter some buggy surprises along the way, though. :)

I did find one annoyance with it so far... it doesn't have any logout/relog option. So whenever I reconnect my wifi connection (I don't use cellular data for now) I always have to manually check if it's OK.
