Root definately bricked... any way out?

i used the guide to get to 2.2.1 and something happened on step 18 so now my phone is stuck on the screen that says "downloading... Do Not Unplug!!!"
is there any possible way to do anything?

Your phone is not bricked. that is the programming screen. dont worry everything i will be fine..
at Step 17 in the command prompt that is where you get the verizon lg screen downloading do not unplug, no worries that is normal. let it run the updater program and just keep following the steps it takes a few times through to make it 100% installed at least it did for me using vista 64bit.

Good to hear you made it out in one piece I really messed my first ally up when it was in the Emergency Download Screen.
