Root DeFrost 6.0e - Help?

Hi guys,

I'm hoping someone here is using the same ROM and can help me; I'm probably missing something really obvious, but I cant seem to find the stock Dialler and Contacts applications on this ROM?

I'm using DialerOne as a replacement dialler temporarily but can't seem to find a decent alternative to the stock contatcs app and currently have no way of editing or adding contacts from the phone itself?

Maybe it's just getting late and i'm being thick, but any help much appreciated :p
 
no, was running Defrost 5.x before hand so didn't wipe? I'm really reluctant to wipe as I've never had a completely successful re-installation of all my apps etc from back up... Probably something i'm doing wrong in the process to be fair but with every DeFrost update i've done so far, i've not wiped and i've not had a single problem until now...
 
Dialer is there.for me. Since you were already on.df, wipe is not necessarily the issue.

Try re downloading the Rom (may need to.delete from sd first) and reflashing
 
Thanks, will let you know how i get on. It's odd, because i can see them in the 'Manage Applications' Menu, but not in the App drawer :(
 
Not there either :( in the process of downloading and re-installing DeFrost 6.0c through ROM Manager as i'm having to download OTA direct to the phone so will see how that goes :) wish me luck....

No idea then. I just deleted and added phone as application shortcut in launcherpro no probs. Suggest mention it again in xda thread
