Root Defrost Rom Wifi issues

[ianofaraby]

Does anyone running Defrost have issues with wifi disconnecting when the phone screen is off for any length off time. I have to knock wifi off and on to reconnect no matter what I set the sleep policy to.

I have all current files installed and no other bugs.

I have updated to 2.3 and the problem does seem too have gone away. I am now going to flash a blck status bar to see if that affects it. Thanks

I was having a similar problem.

I downloaded wifi buddy from the market as this was the only way I could find to set wifi to ' always on'.

Has worked fine since.

It's located under Settings>Wireless & Network Settings>WiFiSettings>Menu Key>Advanced Settings>WiFi Sleep Policy.
