Root DeFrost/SetCPU Issue

MikeC1408

So I'm rooted and running Defrost 6.0j (Kernal 2.6.35.7-defrost-bravo) but I'm having issues with Overclocking in SetCPU.
The max and min sliders won't go above 528MHz (Will reset to 998 Max 245 Min if I leave set on boot unchecked but as soon as I touch a slider it's 19.2MHz Min and 528MHz Max)

Also in Profiles I have the 245 Min/Max for screen off, If I check the enable flag it automatically goes to 528 Min/Max on the normal profile.

All scaling is currently set to ondemand

Any Ideas?

Thanks

Spent ages looking at their site and this didn't register.
Have gone back to see if it is there and it is right at the top........doooh :o.

1113 Max & 245 Min

Quadrant now up to using 1812 smartass, should I use smartass or stick to OnDemand

Wood for the trees moment.

Bit more research and I have stolen a couple of settings from other peoples set ups and come up with the following for battery preservation and CPU protection in the following order of priority

Normal 245 Min 1113 Max Smartass

Temp > 50.0c 245 Min 245 Max Powersave
Temp > 40.0c 245 Min 806 Max smartass
ScreenOff 245 Min 245 Max ondemand
Battery < 30% 245 Min 645 Max Powersave
Battery < 80% 245 Min 1113 Max Smartass
Charging/Full 245 Min 1113 Max Performance

I literally just use min 245 / max 1113 On Demand and a Screen off min / max 245.

I used to use other profiles, but I want all the performance all of the time. I don't want lag.

Also, i cant see any benefit of using Powersave with a min / max of 245. Powersave is a way of scaling the CPU, but if the min and max are the same, it doesn't scale anyway.
