It wouldn't happen to be mine, or rb's? I'll be including that in my tut when I finally get LM16 up and running. STILL backing up my damned hard drive. USB2.0 speeds can go to hell.Btw would u be interested I have found a git with the entire nex kernel source? Was gonna look into trying out some mods myself but became confused very quickly when looking up some tutorials lol. I wanted to decompile both the og kernel and yours to reference how to make a kernel for the first time. Got the new kernel, flashing now

ANYWAY, did you still need that drive from me since you have the one you've got now, or should I still send it out. Packages will be going out monday (I was broke until sometime today. Stupid doctor's visit that wasn't budgeted for. How dare you steal my christmas shipping money so I don't go insane. -_-)
um, you could show off some of the bloons games. I'm currently playing Bloons TD 5, and it gets pretty resource heavy. around lvl 100 on my rise would take about 15 minutes. On the awe, it takes about 2 minutes. How much better is LM16 than official UBUNTU? I'm looming for something with a decent interface and ease of use (like linux is easy >_<) to start trying out some modding myself. Would like to see 4.2.2 at least on this thing with theming and more power. AOSP would do this device a lot of justice to bring out its full potential for such a powerful phone. If I gotta learn how to do it myself, by golly I will give it my damndest! Lol but you guys have done a great job getting this started. Hopefully more devs will step in and see the possibilities. I'll try and corral as many as I can with videos and show off what this thing can do. Like playing Ravensword Shadowlands which I just bought with NO LAG whatsoever, NFS MW playing with full graphics enabled thanks to this kernel, NOVA 3 and MC4 and their sick speeds and quality, Dead Space...what else should I show off against the oh-so-mighty SIII that is getting its sorry ass left sitting on my table not touched for days? Lol

You want to repackage it for me, and shoot it to me? That'd be great.u can unpack ramdisk from boot.img and modify it, repack it
ramdisk modification is my thing and when i get one of these devices in my hand i'll have it done real quick
As soon as my laptop is up and running, cm10 is what I was planning on starting with. It's not aosp, but it's still 4.1.2. Should I try just aosp first? That's a lot of dl'ing. :frown:Any chance to try porting a 4.1.2 aosp FIRST
I will see what I can come up with...You want to repackage it for me, and shoot it to me? That'd be great.

I have split the boot.img but havent messed with anything yet. I wanted to download notepad++ but havent yet as I'm unsure what to do with the two files. Do I extract the ramdisk with winrar and then what? Lol. Also where would be a good tut to look at modifying the clocks?
Ive tried like 3 different tools to deodex the apk's and jar files but they all fail. Any better way to do those too?
