Help Defy Froyo Camera Flash Problem

Well, I updated my phone to Froyo and now I have a flash problem. My camera flash works but when I use it, the camera picture is completely black, I'm not sure how to go about fixing it or what the deal is..

My phone is apparently a Hong Kong Defy, I used an online motorola software updater to update to Froyo, instead of through my carrier OTA.

Any help would be great, I haven't found anything to have remedy my issue..

At first i thought it may be a consequence of rooting but it seems not.

Camera still works in other application example google goggles so im guessing its fixable. If i find any solutions i'll post them here, i would appreciate if everyone else can do the same.

It is a known issue, solution has been discussed in Motorola Support forums.

Basically, after Froyo upgrade, you need to clear Camera Application Data/Cache going into Settings->Applications.

It is as simple as that.

Yeah, I tried that after posting but couldn't remember my login to post what I had done. Thanks though, that solution does work, or rather, it did for me when I figured it out..
