Help Delay coming out of Messaging after update.

I finally got an update to 2.3.4 through kies. All seems good, but now when i come out of messenger using the back button, there is a delay, around a second when coming out of it.

Has anyone else got this and know whats causing it because it was fine before the update.

Go to Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All > Messaging > Clear data and Clear cache

That only reset my settings.

still a definite lag when quitting messaging :-(

I've had this tiny delay on all firmwares on mine. It only happens when i've sent a text and I come out of the messaging app, as it seems to be hanging a split second while it sends the text.

If you go into messaging and come straight out without sending a text you'll find it comes out immediately.

Only way I find to get instant exit from messaging app is to use GOSMS.

So I've put on gosms, pretty cool app.

One thing though. its not sending messages! lol. I had a look round the settings thinking it was caus there wasn't a message centre number but couldn't find anything.

Any ideas why its not sending messages?

Its alright. got it sorted.

If anyone else has this problem, go into the sending settings and enable smsc and put your message centre number in there.
