Help Delay getting into dialpad when in phone call?

Anyone having delays when they are in the middle of a call and need to use dialpad for an automated prompt? The first Esteem I had was smooth as hell and I never had any delays going in and out of the dialpad when on a call, but the replacement I got after first one was stolen seems to be sluggish/delayed when I tell it go into dialpad on a call...also when pressing numbers during the call as well. It was having this problem before I even rooted this phone, and it continues to suffer with this even after root. And for the record, I am debloated and don't run many apps...always have at least 100 mb of RAM free, but I've even experienced this problem when I've freed up even more RAM than that so I dunno what the hell is causing this but it's getting frustrating as hell. It's starting to remind me of the Indulge I used to own

Mine did that too, but the ZVD update fixed it
 
Before zvd this really annoyed me after zvd that lag has improved and most times comes up right away but I do understand your frustration that really bother me when it happen
 
Im on ZVB, and it happens, when it wants to. The lady tells me to press a number, for a specific category, I press the dialpad button, then it takes about 3-4 seconds before popping up. Then, I press a number, it doesn't read it at 1st, so I press it about 3 more times, and instead of it being the number 1, it then turns to 1111 (bc it catches up late), then the lady says, "Sorry, invalid entry", -___- lol
 
im on rooted stock zvb and mine does that sometimes before i even make a call, i dial in the number and it lags before i hear the dial tone...like 5-10 sec to be exact
