Delayed message retrieval

After updating to JellyBean, my messages have been coming in from anywhere between 20 minutes to several hours after they have been sent.
I was wondering if anyone else is experiencing this problem with their text messages and if anyone has found a solution to this. Any help is appreciated..
 
This is the same person just a different account.

I noticed that my messages started to come at appropriate times after Virgin Mobile sent out the text that saying that the update to JellyBean was official. In a sense, it worked itself out without me actually having to do anything. For me, it may have had something to do with getting the update a week before it was official. Possibly a problem with the network recognizing the phone or some sort of software issue occurred.

I suggest you either wait it out a few days to see if anything changes or call customer service to see if there is anything they can do to help you out...most likely they will have to reactivate your phone which shouldn't, in theory, cause any extra monthly charges. I hope your issue is resolved, I know how annoying it is. Good luck.
