Help Delete a Contact

Can anyone tell me how to delet someone's number you no longer want....I have a ZTE phone and can't seem to find out how this is done.

If you open the contact, there should be 3 dots in the top right hand corner of the screen. If you press that, is there an option to delete?

Nope...when I open the contacts there are all the name that came with the phone an others I imported from my old phone does not give that option at all not dots....I know the ones you are talking about

So when you select a contact, what comes up when you hit the menu button, or is there this icon at all (at RED arrow)?

Ditto mate (no pc).
Luckily I'm running stock cm so have a bit of customisation
PS Mike, that arrow is blatantly ORANGE

Long press on contact you want to delete and a banner will pop up with option to delete.
