Help delete auto backup pictures

Do you mean pictures from Picasa?

First, go to Setting --> Accounts --> Google, and disable Pictures sync.

Then, go to Settings --> Apps --> All, and scroll down until you find gallery. When you find it, select Force Stop, followed by clear data.

Go back to your home screen and re-open Gallery. It will reload all of your images, minus the backup photos from Picasa.

Or you could just open Gallery -> Menu -> Content to Display and uncheck places you don't want pictures synced from including Picasa, Facebook, and Dropbox.

That doesn't make them disappear, though. If they've already been synced, they will remain after you make this change.

Clearing the app's data will clear them out.

I guess I've missed that setting and got lucky, which I'm thankful for. My phone only cached thumbnails as part of the sync, displaying icons in the corner to show where they are. It never downloading any pictures from anywhere. Once I unchecked, everything went *poof. Good to know if I somehow come across it.
