delete gmail trash

New to this but had issue on not being able to delete my overloaded trash in gmail. I found that if u mark all and move to spam u then can mark all and delete with ease...funny part is that the trash label still has the qty. there but they are indeed gone..hope this helps anyone elese not happy about wanting to delete trash before the 30days it would stay before being done for you...regards

Thank you for the tip! One question though, does Gmail learn and start putting email from those contacts in the spam folder from then on?

That might not be a good thing.
