Delete on Handheld AND Mailbox

MintSauce

Lurker
Just got my first ever droid in the form of a SGS2, and I'm never going back to RIM.

I've mananged to find 99% of the answers to my questions on this website just by using the search function, as well as learning things i didn't even know i wanted to know, so i'm hoping someone out there can advise on the below:

Coming from a Blackberry, I was prompted each time I went to delete a mail message with the following: delete from "Handheld" or "Handheld & Mailbox"

This way e-mail messages I needed to attend to when I get back infront of a PC would be downloaded when I opened my mail client and all the mail I deleted "on handheld and mailbox" throughout the day would be gone.

Anyone know if this option exists on the droid, or what menu it's hidden in? Perhaps there's an app that could prompts this question?

It was nice having the two delete options on the blackberry, but not a deal breaker.

Thanks to everyone who reads, and special thanks in advance to those who reply!

I think if you set it up as a premium account, then whatever you delete from phone would be deleted from online mailbox as well. If not a premium account, I guess it doesn't.

As for getting an option everytime you delete, I haven't seen any setting in the stock email app to do that.

Thanks for replying.

Is it possible to do this once an account is already set up? Or do i need to delete the account and set them up again?

Also, can i do this for multiple accounts?

Cheers,

1) Not sure if can change once its set up. When I was setting up the email accounts, there was an option to set it as premium account. Not sure if can go to that settings again, or at least not sure where. Maybe simpler to delete and reset again.

2) You can set all as premium accounts. I have 3 email accounts and all set as premium.

Cheers
