Help delete pix from auto backup album in gallery

My ex didn't have a smartphone and i didn't need it if I was busy so when I had to run errands I would let him use it.

The other day I reset my phone. Afterward an "auto backup" album popped up in my pic gallery that wasn't there before. I found some inappropriate pix that he had taken but deleted from the "camera" album.

I tried all the ways I know to delete them but to no avail.

Can someone help me? I don't want my 6yo seeing them. Thank you

They might be stored on Google, so that when you do a reset they get put back on your phone.
If this is the case you might want to view the account associated with the phone using your computer and see if you can delete them from there.
I don't use this "cloud backup" option but worth looking into.
Hope this helps.
