Is there any way to delete some of the pre-loaded apps that came on the Epic? There are a bunch on there that I have no interest in whatsoever....the lady at Sprint customer service said there was no way to do this, but everyone on here seems to know more than customer service LOL....

your answer lies in rooting the phone. go to the rooting section to learn more about removing these unwanted apps

Root and get the required removal/file manager app and remove the unwanted .apk's. Be aware that not having certain stock files can prevent you from receiving future updates, as in Froyo etc. In that case you would have to either update manually or revert to stock. Like the post above says go to the dev section and READ a lot. It is a fairly simple process but there are risks but without risk there is no reward.
