Help Delete unpaired bluetooth device or change the pin

Hello,
I have Samsung Galaxy Note with last official software release installed. I have a Bluetooth headset and I've introduced a wrong pin code and now I can't change the pin or delete the device from the list so I could pair it with the phone. Can I solve this problem without factory reset?

Hello. Did you ever find a solution to this? Four years later and I'm going through the same thing with my Galaxy S7.

I can't unpair the device because it never successfully paired. When I search for it the phone sees the device and attempts to connect, and the connection is rejected because the phone is dsending the wrong pin. When It initially asked for a pin the FIRST time I tried to connect to it I entered the wing PIN. Now it won't ask for it, as it keeps sending the wrong one. The device is in no way at fault the device doesn't have memory or a way to entry information it's Just an older Bluetooth speaker. I've cleared the Bluetooth cache cleared the cache partition through the boot mode... No clue what else to try.
