Deleted emails coming back

I have 4 email accounts set up on my SGS2, and from the outset one of them would notify me that i had a new email when it was actually the one i just deleted. The other 3 were fine, deleting them and staying deleted, but this morning i deleted an email from another account and a few minutes later i got a notifcation and that same email was back in my inbox.

Anyone else had this or got any tips?

Oh, that's strange. It's also happened to me a few times and left me scratching my head. I use IMAP for my email accounts and maybe the delete message doesn't always get sent back to the server or something.

It's certainly not all the time. But just now and then - up they pop again a little while later!

i havent had deleted emails come up as new email with notification. but sometimes i delete a new mail, and it still shows as a Read email. i found out that after hitting delete, it shows 'deleting' for a second or two. if i hit back while the 'deleting' msg is still shown, the msg doesnt get deleted. i need to wait til the msg goes off.. then its deleted n i can go back. it usually takes just a second or two. maybe its the same problem as u
