Help Deleted Storage Folder - Now all pcitures & Music Lost!

Hi All

I connected my phone to PC to transfer some files across.

I then thought of tidying up and trying to free space on my Nexus 4.

I saw a folder called Storage and after opening it seemed like old game data was in there. So i just deleted it.

How stupid!

Now i lost all the folder structure like data folder, DCIM etc.

My question is can I get them back?

I tried apps like Diskdigger from the play store but no luck as my phone is not rooted.

Phone is still running normal, no apps are lost, all my settings still exist. I think the storage folder was basically my SD card.

Only thing I can think is to use a data recovery tool - and I'm not even sure that would work given you'd have to connect via USB and you can't connect as an external drive.

If you want to try, I guess you'd need to find a data recovery tool that works with internal phone storage, though something that worked with SD cards might also d o the trick.
