I just got the Desire yesterday and after adding a few contacts I set it up to sync with my gmail. Everything worked fine, till now.
Whenever I add a contact from the Desire it deletes itself after a minute or two, but when I add it from gmail it syncs fine.
Obviously this isn't ideal. Can anyone help me? This is a real big pain.
EDIT: After hours of searching i've seen quite a few threads asking about this problem, not one has a solution.
However, I have found a partial fix that will do for a while, I made an Exchange Active Sync account for the same gmail account and add all my new contacts to it, that then syncs with gmail which in turn syncs with the gmail account on my phone.
It's stupid as hell.
