deleting email

Help! I just dowloaded k 9 mail app so that i could finally mass delete email. now, how do i stop my mail from coming to both the stock email app and k9 app? (samsung fascinate) can i get rid of the email app that came with phone? i am so technically challenged!

To stop the email from going to both apps just go into the app that you don't want and delete the email configuration for that account.

Or de-select "sync" for the gmail account under settings>accounts.
