Deleting Emails Remotely

I have a IMAP email system at my office. My Fascinate checks these emails. When I delete a email on the phone, it deletes it on my email server and deletes it on my office comp. I would like to delete them on the phone but have them remain on the office server. Is this possible? How would I go about setting this up?

Thanks!

That's the whole point/beauty of IMAP (synchronization across clients). You need to setup a POP account on the phone if you want to only delete items from the phone.

Thanks. I know that's the utility of IMAP but I didn't want to carry around 100's of emails on the phone, thinking that it would take up a lot of resources to do so. My business is such that I must hold all emails for at least 6 months and I receive 50 to 100 a day.

The IMAP account will only pull down the headers, not the entire email. So, it shouldn't be too much of a resource demand.
