Hey there,
Are you using the Google Mail app? If so then you can press the 'tick' on the side to multiselect the emails you want to delete then press 'menu' then 'delete'.

Its not the gmail....its the hotmail account

You could sign into the Hotmail mobile site and multi delete from there.
