Help Deleting Messages from Social Hub

Hi people, am new to this forum so please say hi!!

On a serious note i have this phone and have used it for a week now but i have a burning question over something thats annoying me.

I have as most of us have the social hub. I have my email, twitter, linkedin and facebook notifications in there.

However, i notice that even when the facebook messages are deleted direct from my pc, they still show up on the phone. I have cleared the phones cache, logged out, logged in, but still the messages show in social hub.

Anyone know how to delete them???

Yeah I have the same problem and my dad has it too we have the same phone sgs 2 and we couldn't delete them. We directly deleted the messages from facebook account but when we come back to social hub the messages are still there. Any help please?

well i dont think i have had this issue.. but in any case, i dont use samsung apps much.. the hubs are ok, the social hub is probably the best one.. but the standalone apps (facebook, email, twitter) are much better than social hub, i recommend using those instead

Same problem on my new Samsung Galaxy S2, can't delete old messeges from phone even though the old messeges are deleted from facebook. There must be a problem with sync because the messeges I do have on facebook won't show up on phone (the ones that were there before I activated my phone).

Delete the accounts on Social Hub: you have better apps for Facebook, Linked-In, Twitter, Yahoo Mail, Gmail in the Market. They are much much much better....

This is not a "problem " per say it is the way it works. Each device you have PC desktop and phone is a client of your account on the server. Deleting an email on the PC client will never sync bac and delete it elsewhere if you have POP protocol setup on the desktop. If you have IMAP protocol being used it does have the potential to delete back on the server but it then depends on the settings in your local software. The client sotware ont he phone (Social Hub) is not designed like this so cannot delete items off the server, they are just downloaded one way.
