Help Deleting multiple contacts at once?

Can't seem to find the magic solution for this. I have 300+ contacts and have cleaned up the duplicates but what I'm looking for is a sort of "fast edit" way to select multiple contacts from the overall list and then delete them all with one click. Is there anything onboard the phone (or any useful apps) that will let me do this?

Are these contacts synced anywhere?

All of the contacts on my phone are synced with my Google account, and if I need to do major work like that with contacts I just do it on a computer.

Since I don't do that sort of contact editing on my phone, I'm not aware off the top of my head of a third party app that could help with that. But, I just tried this app (click for the Play Store link): Simpler Contacts

And, in addition to some nice duplicate detection (which you can choose to ignore), you can long press on a contact, which will select it and then allow you to select more - which then gives you the ability to delete them.

We ported all my contacts from the old phone to the new phone at the Verizon store but I haven't synced my contacts yet on the Turbo. I tried out that app you recommended and it fits the bill nicely, thanks for that!
