Help Deleting Music/ Albums from music player.

I would like to delete an album i downloaded from my pc. I have the stock music player, but do not see an option to do this.

Thanks for any help.

btw...I did do a search, but nothing came up.

Open the "albums" folder in the music player, long press the album you want to delete, and you should get a, play/add to playlist/delete option

Success! The good ol' 'long press' did the trick.

Hey there! I can't seem to figure this out. I have the music app that came with the droid x and I can't seem to get my music off it. I've hooked my phone up to the computer and deleted all the music off the memory card but it still shows up in my music player. When you go to play it, it says the app doesn't recognize it, so I know it's gone, but all the music still looks as though it's in my player. I also have double every song so there are about 4,000 files in it, so long-press isn't really an option to delete every song. Does anyone know how to fix this?? Thanks much!

Try to remove the SD card from the phone and put it back again.
