Deleting Old Text

With Froyo...theres an option under message where you can set the max text message you want to save. Basically, once reach that max amount say 1000, it will delete old texts to keep it around 1000. I cant find that option anywhere with GB. I text a lot especially close friends and family members and its annoying to delete old text individually. I could delete the whole thing but I just want to keep the recent ones.

i use the app titled 'delete old messages' from the market. it works well for me and in the free version u can still choose up to what time frame u want to delete (example: delete any texts older than 2 weeks, 1 month, etc). maybe u'd want to try that?

It's still there. Go into messages, hit menu - settings - general - text message limit

That is where it use to be..I know cuz I would go there to change the setting. But I dont see it anymore thats why I was wondering what happened to it. But its cool...the app will do fine. I just wish that it was built in like it use to. Im running 2.3.4 GB Synergy ROM so I guess I should ask McLabia

Ahh ok. not sure what to tell you then as I have never run that ROM.
