Hey guys. I hate to be one of those 1 post 1 question noobs, but alas, I can't figure this out.
So here's the deal, about a year ago I rooted my optimus with z4. I believe I unrooted it before the operating system update, or kept it rooted - either way it still worked.
Now I still have super user on the phone, but the phone has been unrooted since, and I'd really like to figure out how I can delete superuser so I can take it in to sprint and have it reflashed to froyo.
Today I tried to do a factory reset - that didn't work, and I also tried to use z4 again, but all that does is make my phone so sluggish that it has to be reset.
Also, I went ahead and bought Root Explorer - though I guess I need to have my phone rooted for that. But I have a Mac, so rooting my phone without a one click root is difficult.
So can someone please give me some quick ideas as to which directions I should follow to get this working properly?
