Help Deleting Text messages

[Deleted User]

Hi

My GF has a wildfire and whenever she tries to delete message threads the phone hangs and has to be switched off. This is using the default HTC message app.

The message count is always above 500. Could this be the reason?
How can we delete the messages as it keeps crashing? Does anyone else have this issue?

search for an app in the market called history eraser. one of its options is to delete all sms messages. hope this helps.
