Help Deleting Text Thread

Hummmmm, I looked over related issue but not sure of the answers.

Here is what the book says on page 95:

To delete a message thread from the Messaging window
1. Touch and hold the message thread.
2. Touch Delete thread in the Context menu that opens.
3. Touch Delete to confirm you want to delete the message thread.

I can only seem to delete only ONE conversation with a thread that has 10 in it. I have to delete them one at a time to get the whole thread gone.

What am I doing wrong?

press and hold on the thread, select "delete thread", confirm it, and the thread will be deleted.

also if you are already on the message screen just click menu, delete, then click select all

I found a friend of mine has an LG too, but not the Motion, but the delete thread was easy to find if I just knew how, but this description of how to get there was not in the book! Now all I got to do is figure out how to get a voice recording file to a ringtone.
