Hi jazzeone, and welcome to AF :)

The best place to get advice would be our Wildfire forum here. That's where you'll find other owners, who will know how to get the most from it.

For uninstalling apps, user apps you can just uninstall from the Manage Applications menu. System apps (pre-installed) cannot be uninstalled unless you root the phone. However, the apps themselves are in a different storage partition so are not using your space, though their data will be (you can clear data on any you don't use). Remember that contacts, messages are the data of some system app, so make sure you know what you are doing first.

I can't help with MMS as I never use these, but someone in the Wildfire forum will know.

Good luck, and glad to have you join us :D
