Help delivery reports

A few weeks ago my girlfriend blocked the pattern lock by trying it too many times and I had to do a factory reset, ever since then the delivery reports haven't worked, anyone else had a similar problem or know how to fix it?
 
Anybody please, can't just be me surely, I'm praying the gingerbread update will fix it but not holding out any hope that'll be soon or will fix it when it happens
 
I had a problem getting my phone to sync with htc sense after a factory reset and the only thing that fixed it was another factory reset.
 
You may need your network provider to resend you their sms settings for your phone as the reset may have wiped some of the programme data.

Usually you ring customer service and explain your problem i.e. full utility of sms not working, and they send you out the settings again via an SMS which you then "save". Some networks allow you to get the settings yourself from their website e.g. myvodafone
 
Just thought I'd report that the gingerbread update has fixed the problem, now I've been hearing 3 are gonna start charging for reports so almost wish it hadn't
